About Wallace:

Wallace is a cheese-loving inventor who lives in a town in the North England.  He uses his ingenious contraptions to devise new get-rich-quick schemes, which range from window-cleaning to pest control and now to running a bakery.  More often than not, his hair-brained ideas and misguided enthusiasm turn out to be a recipe for disaster - but Wallace never lets the odd teething problem get him down. Yet this unsinkable optimism belies the fact that Wallace is unlucky in love – apart of course from the unswerving devotion shown to him by his ever-faithful dog Gromit.
